A marketplace built for prestige

PSR London is a vetted luxury car marketplace — a platform where buyers and sellers of prestige vehicles transact with confidence. The brief called for a product that could compete visually and functionally at the top end of the automotive market, while handling the complexity of a two-sided marketplace under the hood.

Every design decision had to earn its place: nothing that would undermine the exclusivity of the listings, everything that would reduce friction for serious buyers.

Black, gold, full production stack

A monochromatic black-and-gold design language communicates exclusivity without performing it. Cream tones for editorial content, gold for calls to action — a restrained palette that keeps attention on the cars themselves.

The first project in this body of work to move beyond static HTML into a full production stack: Next.js 16 for the frontend, Payload CMS for content and listing management, Clerk for authentication, and Resend for transactional email. Built to scale.

Design system

PSR black as the primary surface. Gold for actions and emphasis. Cream for editorial content. Every token earns its keep.

Authentication

Clerk handles user authentication — buyer accounts, seller verification, and session management — freeing the build to focus on the marketplace experience.

CMS

Payload CMS gives the PSR team full editorial control over listings, content pages, and seller profiles — no developer required for day-to-day management.

Scale

Next.js 16 with server-side rendering ensures listing pages are fast, crawlable, and consistent — critical for a marketplace where SEO drives organic buyer discovery.
